There were plenty of sand-flappers near the surface that seemed ready to be caught, but sometimes it was a dangerous business. Once, a large one rose alongside one of the side floats and leaped clear, twisting and coming down with a great splash when Rampant snapped his jaws at it, making the wet-floater tilt dangerously and the uprights yell at him, but it was worth it for the good feast the dragons enjoyed.
